Ultrasonic level sensors combine sensing technology with electrical signal processing to measure the level of liquid in an open or sealed container. The sensor is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor and a temperature sensing element. The sensor emits a series of ultrasonic pulses from the probe, and the ultrasonic pulse returns to the liquid level and is received by the sensor. The filtering device in the sensor can distinguish the true echo returning from the liquid surface from the various false echoes from the acoustic wave, the electric wave noise and the rotary agitator blade noise. The pulse wave is emitted from the liquid surface to the liquid surface and then returned to the sensor. The time used is temperature compensated and converted to a displayable distance and converted to a current output.
